' Wrote:Eh, I remember when I first came here I found people whining about independent Navy players in capital ships. So for my own independent Navy character, I have stuck to a Guardian with a crummy weapons loadout (heck, I don't even have shieldbusters), a class 8 shield, a very basic mine dropper, no CD - just the low level torpedoes - and even crummy countermeasures. I thought that that would keep folks content with that fighter (elsewhere I have a Shire transport, a well equipped Eagle, and a newly-purchased Kusari Explorer, so it's nothing to do with lack of funds/ability to outfit a fighter).

What I've actually found is that pirates are usually in far better ships than the lawfuls have. They sometimes have well-equipped VHFs, they usually have bombers, and they sometimes have gunboats. I rarely see lawfuls in anything but VHFs or LFs, with a small handful of LN tagged capital ships.

And now the LR are getting... more good ships? From all that I've seen, the lawfuls are almost always outnumbered and outgunned in large scale fights, and now it's just getting worse.

I dunno. Maybe I just have funny playtimes and don't see the problem that's described in the first post.

Have you ever tried to be an unlawful in liberty..watching as other unlawfuls shoot liberators with dual missiled gunboats. Makes me sick to my gut.

The LR- show the way a unlawful should behave, balancing out of RP fairness and etiquette with in RP actions.

This combination is receiving only positive comments so far. I hope we can change the ways lawful and unlawful forces interact these days, or else it is just "target sighted, engaging enemy" all the time.

Liberty needs more in depth RP between the forces that inhabit it.

As for the better ships. Ours are more powerful...have more armor...

You know....when I go out on a hunt on our light fighter...I fear of bombers. Snaks....novas....Mini razors....
Every time I go out in our bomber....well, you can understand where this is leading....
