Liberty owns the Valhalla site. It's not only about Jumpgates and Tradelanes. It's about new technology that they're discovering day by day, and probably not sharing with the rest of the houses. Do you know that all the other three houses -bought- the engine blueprints from Liberty, when they discovered them ? That's why Liberty is so rich, and why it can steam-roll two nations at once. No sane mind would enter a conflict against them. Yet, Rheinland did, because they're extreme-nationalists and whatnot.

Jumpgates, tradelanes, modern engines, planetry docking rings, all that and more LIBERTY devolped.

Read the nomad lore people, the Dom Kvash left stuff all over the sector, be in the cadi on Malta....... or an archive on Manhattan, which Ageria was founded to exploit.

As for why they traded it ? THE MONEY. Plus liberty still has better tech than any other house, its military moreso.

Now 1on1 they may not have the strongest ships, but thats ok.

Libertys strategy is one of disposable battleships (to an extent anyway). Yeah you may get a ship or two, but they'll have their caps in groups for each target. (OORP stragegy is just to spam LABCs of course)

Not really sure why you people assume Rheinland is the strongest. They got crushed by a gas mining corporation, and they were brought to the point where they didn't even have spare parts to maintain their fleet. It's all in the game, I didn't make it up. Rheinland may be strict and organized, but they're certainly not more powerful. They can't pay their pilots for crying out loud, that's why they're using this whole God-Chancellor cult, it's the only thing that keeps them from collapsing.

Exactly. 80year war, GMG slowley disassembled their fleet with fighters and bombers. Nomad war, Edison Trent and company wtfpwn even more of their flying bricks. Yes they have BIG HUGE battleships, which 1on1 may even be as good as a lib Dreadnough, however they can ill afford to loose them, and the ships they have are easy targets for anything. All liberty has to do is loose a cap ship for every lost rhinland ship and they win.
