Don't worry, i wasn't planning on going rogue or something.
I've checked the Order page in the Wiki and the Faction status post and didn't find any answers to these questions, maybe you can give mi a hint where to look?

Asking for permission to enter House space semms to be a good idea though, and respecting their laws is an absolutely must.

But what about the demanding stuff thing? I am just referring to the goods listed in the ID, not things like Counterfit Software, Black market munitions and so on.
Is there a difference between House space and the independent words/edge/borderworlds? Just in the Omicrons? Or everywhere?

Without any order experience personally, But using common sense,
I would say inform/request the appropriate House "authority"
that you'll be operating to standard order procedures,
then have at those to whom the Eye of Ra/Horus/Sauron/Santa Claus falls upon.
