From what I gathered at the engagement, we first thought the "ghost" ships were Nomads since they appeared to be speaking through our minds, but their grammar was better than usuall jelly jibberish.
I was the one who flew in close enough to the two Osiris's to see their ID's, and both were Corsair Guard. And although they say to be crew-less or whatever, they still had some commodities on board, and I'm guessing the life-forms I detected were prisonerd.
Strangely enough though, after they were destroyed, I flew past Gamma to get to the Omega systems, and surely enough the Ghost Ship I somehow got credit for the kill for, must have used Gamma's long-range scanners to detect me in the system, followed by an apparend demand/order from Spagna telling me to leave; pardon, ordering me to leave. I was inclined to stay to aggravate the ghost, if supernatural beings have emotions, but I don't see what makes dead people think they can order other living people around, especially a living person who just an hour or so ago helped kill one of the apparently already dead ships.
Anyways, yes, they gave obvious hostility towards the Zoner Juggernaut by the freeport and I had a bad feeling about everything so I volunteered to recon and joined in in the fight. Note; I was flying a simple arrow and got out without a scratch, now that's sweet flying haha.
