I think folks are willing to give you guys a chance without bomber swarming, but you need to start doing some research on ghost ships and their lore. You can start here:

Some very good material for you "Ghosts" to read. Many stories of ghost ships aren't the ghost collecting souls or seeking vengeance as much as they are trying to find their way home or seek vengeance upon the person who damned them, which isn't every damn body you run into.

Another good story to read that's kind of related by my favorite poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner." I quote it often.
