I come before you to present testimony of the Freeport NFZ violation committed by Ghost.Ship and [color=#FFFFFF]SFS|Raider in Omega 41 next to Freeport 5.
At about 14:03 SMT, the ZRT channel relayed a distress call from the Zoner Whale class transport Emerald_Glow, stating he had troubles with a Corsair gunboat at Freeport 5.
I hopped into my Virage - ID'd as OSI-Reisiger.Duke - and had the engineers on Freeport 9 switch my Train CD for a mini Razor, took off and cruised as fast as I could to the jumphole to Omega 41. Arriving at Freeport 5, I was greeted by the sight of the Emerald_Glow outside the station, a Corsair Gunboat going by the transponder of Ghost.Ship - who was being fired upon by the station -, a Corsair Cruiser ID'd SFS|Raider and my colleague Spartacus, flying his bomber ID'd OSI-S.Weepiglet and having an eye on the 'Sair Gunboat - all of them right next tot he station.
The captain of both the Emerald_Glow was having an argument about the Ghost.Ship attacking him and trying to pirate him inside the NFZ, when all of a sudden the gunboat opened up on the Whale. In response, my colleague and myself opened fire on the Ghost.Ship with the cruiser attempting to shoot both of us down moments later... but failing to do so due to only having primary corsair turrets installed.
In the following dog-fight, the Ghost.Ship was damaged enough to have used up all nanobots and shield batteries, with me and Spartacus still having some reserves left, when [OPG]Mentira and an independent Corsair showed up and ordered a cease-fire - they were shortly thereafter joined by [OPG-SM]Vilkas, and Karolis.
Both myself and my colleague complied, while the cruiser took his time to disengage, with the Ghost.Ship continuing to firing for about another half a minute. After all settled down, [OPG]Mentira questioned all present and involved about the events, and - after hearing that the Ghost.Ship justifying it's attack with the Emerald_Glow attempting to hack his ships network - sternly reminded Ghost.Ship and the SFS|Raider to obey the NFZ and that it was up to the Zoners to dish out punishment for those violating it.
With this settled, I banned the Ghost.Ship from any and all NFZ's for the duration of 4 hours - thus until 18:40 SMT today.
On another note, I was also asked if that "ghostboat" would belong to the oddly behaving Osiris flying Ghost Ships... but while his unbelievable justification for the attack would fit into the pattern that got them on the Zoners Hostile list, he didn't show any sign of telepathy.
