Report of NFZ violation at Freeport 5
I was sat in my ship on Freeport 9 minding my own business when, the emergency channel warning light started flashing. The message was being relayed through Freeport 5's comm array and i close the seals, got clearance and launched into space.
I arrived at Freeport 5 to find a 2 Corsair Gunboats facing off with a Whale, the Emerald Glow. One of the Gunboats was under fire from the station and was hiding behind an space rock, i can only speculate as to why but none of the answer i come up with involve friendly intentions.
He then popped out from the rock and engaged the Emerald Glow. I opened fire on the Ghost Ship and with the help of Reisiger Duke we engaged the Corsair ships. I must admit, the red mist came down and im unaware of what happened to the Emerald Glow. I can only hope she docked or escaped to safety.
The fight was in full swing when a number of Corsair ships arrived form the OPG and called for a cessation to hostilities. After a few false starts a cease-fire was called and the matter was discussed and a diplomatic solution was reached to end the fight without further bloodshed.
The Captain of the Ghost Ship claimed the Emerald Glow attempted to hack into his computer systems and steal Corsair secrets. When asked if he could produce evidence to support his claims he said his ships logs would show the attack but failed to provide anything that wasnt written in his own handwriting.
I would like to thank [OPG]Mentira and [OPG-SM]Vilkas and the others, Beconase and Karolis for reasoning with the Corsairs and being prepared to help enforce the NFZ through action and deeds.
