For the Trading division:
Apprentice Traders are designated apprentice-level upon first entering the Guild. Relatively new to their given profession, they are given training in a slightly more controlled environment than more experienced members. Assignments are potentially more structured, and the apprentice miner/trader must fulfill a given time commitment as well as meeting particular requirements before he/she can move up to the journeyman level.
Apprentice traders have the following requirements:
1. Follow instructions of supervising members, including performance of work as assigned.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Apprentice traders have the following privileges:
1. Receive intermediate-level training in all aspects of trading operations, with every opportunity to work toward journeyman-level status.
2. Receive protection as available during operations.
3. Contribute ideas or voice concerns and grievances to supervisor or division director.
Journeyman Journeyman traders are those who have fulfilled their apprenticeships successfully and continue to work in their chosen profession. As opposed to apprentices, journeymen have proved a particular level of competence and commitment to Guild principles such that they can work independently and without supervision.
Journeyman traders have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Journeyman traders have the following privileges, beyond apprentice-level privileges:
1. Independence of work assignment and location.
2. Receive advanced training in all aspects of trading operations.
3. Participate in confidence vote for division director at regular intervals.
4. Contribute ideas or voice concerns and grievances to supervisor or division director.
Supervisor As opposed to the preceding levels of expertise, Supervisor status designates command authority on the part of the holder. This position is optional depending on the current need and discretion of the director. This individaul assists the director with all aspects of daily operations management, from recruiting and setup to work assignments and evaluations. Only master-level members may apply for a vacant supervisor slot.
Supervisors have the following requirements:
1. Obey the instructions of the Trading Director, DGM or GM.
2. Conduct trade operations within Guild policy guidelines and diplomacy.
Supervisors have the following privileges:
1. May apply for Guild leadership position (directorship and up) upon vacancy.

For the Mining division:

For the Explorer/Research and Development Division:
Recruit The Recruit has just been accepted to the division. They are currently in their 6 hour probation period, and may only fly around the Tau's in a basic ship until they have proven themselves worthy of more.
Recruit's have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Recruit's have the following privileges:
1. Allowed to roam the Tau systems that contain IMG Bases.
2. May fly a Spatial, Eagle or Ravens Talon.
3. May use IMG weapons.
Current employees at this level:
Explorer The Explorer has proven him or herself worthy of further trust. They are now allowed to patrol any area of Sirius, and will report regularly their findings to the rest of the guild.
Explorer's have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Explorer's have the following privileges:
1. Allowed to roam all systems.
2. May fly any VHF or Bomber.
3. May use IMG and Zoner weapons.
Current Employees at this level:
IMG|Rey.Mysterio[E]
Adventurer The Adventurer is an optional rank. When an Explorer is ready for promotion, (s)he may either choose the Adventurer rank, and remain with the [E] tag, or (s)he may choose to go onto the Investigator rank, allowing them to use the [R&D] tag.
Adventurer's have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Adventurer's have the following privileges:
1. Allowed to roam all systems.
2. May fly any VHF, Bomber or the IMG Gunboat.
3. May use IMG, Zoner and Codename weapons.
Current employees at this level:

IMG|Encheta.Shimoa[E]
Investigator The Investigator is the main rank of the R&D section. Recruits who impress the Director may jump directly to this stage.
Investigator's have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Investigator's have the following privileges:
1. Allowed to roam all systems.
2. May fly any VHF, Bomber or the IMG Gunboat.
3. May use IMG, Zoner and Codename weapons.
Inquisitor The Inquisitor is the final rank before Director, and only one Inquisitor may exist in the fleet. This person is considered the Directors second in command, and is given a ship in the fleet.
Investigator's have the following requirements:
1. Operate in a manner that reflects independent professional competency and that sets an example for members at lower levels.
2. Follow IMG policies in all activities.
3. Pay regular dues to the Guild. Dues rates are subject to change.
Investigator's have the following privileges:
1. Allowed to roam all systems.
2. May fly any ship granted by the Director.
3. May use any weapoin being researched upon.
