its like complaining about people driving chinese cars in the us if war with china would break out. they are civilians and have nothing to do with the war directly. giving them a hard time like cursing about unpatriotistic behaviour and increased chance for "just a routine random check of papers, cargo and passengers" is ok and really good rp but as long as they are not openly helping the enemy like breaking the embargo more would be out of line in my oppinion. everything going further is like the imprisonment of the japanese inhabitants of the us during world war 2 (also note that german americans walked free, perhaps because they just looked not different enough).

Though this is a good point, and while Police and Military can't do anything besides being short tempered and very rough, vigilantes, patriots, and haberdashers can really do a number on you just for that reason.

If I decided to fly a Behemoth through Liberty, I would expect the Police to give me a hard time, because there is a war on. If I were to fly a Big Dragon in Bretonia, I would expect it even more. The war has been going on for a long while and animosity is high on both sides.

I can see the point behind this. War fatigue is quite high in Bretonia and Kusari. Hassles are really to be expected, legal or not.
