Nightly Shades

The Shadow moved trough space as a shadow moves along with it's source, it's engines soared with energy as I shut off the Shadow's cruise engines, the Transport ship was not far off. "Just a quick short stop, just for funsies" The transport hailed me, asking why I was closing in on them, my IFF showed me to be a Freelancer. But they had no idea what I was thinking, and what I had just launched. Two rather large missiles left the Shadow's tubes, they started to track the Transport, they yelled over the com's "No! No! You cant! Stop, will give you what eve....." The first missile took out their shield, the second blew a hole trough their bridge, killing who ever where there. The transport shuddered and I laughed as it started to have smaller explosions within it's hull, it was carrying H-Fuel..
My passenger woke up, he started to turn and make funny sounds as he tried to get out of his restraints, I considered for a moment to hit him with a stun baton, but I changed my mind, so I started to hum a old song I heard when I was younger..

"There there, now.. Sleep, little child... No monsters, nor pirates, will hurt you... Im here now... Im your shiieeld.. I'l protect you, for as long as I am heeereee.."

I laughed and punched him, braking his nose in the progress..

A couple of hours later the Nox came into Sensor range and I hailed it.

"This is The Shadow, on approach, open up your arse and let me in willya.. Package is getting red. Hahah!"

A moment later, the voice of The Nox's captain came trough, his eerie voice and fearful attitude could be heard, even.. No, especially by me..

"Land, and make sure that the Package is delivered to me in person.. Welcome home Caine"

I landed the Shadow into the Slave Liner's launch bay.. And prepared the master's package..

I loved my life.. I really did..
