Suggestion for Generic Pirate ID

While you do make a good point, what is left to encourage independent pirates into joining a faction as things stand? THAT very logic is why independent traders are restricted in the size ship they can use. Wouldn't it be plausible that there should be encouragement to join a pirate faction too?

Quite frankly, as a trader, I'd fear a bomber much more than a gunboat. Especially if I'm in a Shire or Container Transport. Bombers are more likely to out-maneuver my aiming system and hit me hard with class 10 guns on top of it. I'm not doing this from a trader's point of view. I do run a Rogue Gunboat and do pirate as well. But I am also a member of the Liberty Rogues.

I propose this for the reason stated in my first paragraph of this post and to help curb abuse of the ID. It's not being used in the spirit that it was intended.
