Zoner Bounty RP

This is an online shooter. If you leave the community over getting shot up... well... What surprises me here is that people decide to go on about this in the OORP sections of the forum (or better yet, make long posts about how they are leaving because they got shot at in an online shooter), instead of taking RP action. It's just horrible frankly.

Zoners get pirated and shot up every day, mainly due to the amount of abuse their ID recieves. Someone decides to post a bounty (a little sudden, I agree, but that shouldn't stop you from seeing it through) which a band of (for all you know) random pirates decides to claim. Now how is that any different from piracy, aside from the fact that there is forum RP involved, in addition to ingame RP? Is it so bloody different, that we need to now have page long whining posts about it and people need to start dramatically leaving? I recall a similar incident happening recently, which involved Corsairs who dared shoot back at Zoner "NFZ guards", a situation that quickly escalated to OPG destroying three TAZ cruisers. Of course during the course of that you also had the Zoners complaining: "how dare they shoot at us, how dare they metagame our RP, we are neutral!". If you are neutral, then some parties will know that just as you lack defined enemies, you also lack friends. Thus - prepare to get shot up by space bullies. And you so happen to especially associate with the biggest pack of space bullies around: Corsairs. Why complain then?

Trying to force people into submission by OORP whine saying they metagame your RP... no, it's the other way around. You metagame their by telling them that they can't shoot you because they just can't. Every such incident is metagaming, and if all you people roleplaying Zoners can't figure it out that you need to in RP work for respect from other characters, groups, organisations and houses, then Zoner RP truly is worthless.

So to say the least I find your arguments uncompelling, even though I was not the one to set the bounty, nor was any member of the QCP.
