a huge bit of drama here....

first things first....

if the QCP violates our NFZ, they get shot ( the attack is not the first shot fired, the attack is done by those that violate the NFZ ) - we even shot the GMG and the order when they violate the NFZ. - that is our laws, they are enforced - and other factions can be happy that wee only claim so little space around our stations.

secondly...

everyone has the right to turn hostile to zoners..... IF they have the guts and the responsibility to become bloody red to zoners, too. - it is fully acceptable to shoot zoners with enough RP reasons! - but if you stay green or white to zoners after you did so, you are not roleplaying seriously.
so if you attack zoners, as a whole; if you disrespect their claims, their laws, you MUST make yourself RED to zoners and zoner guards - and you will stay away from purchasing zoners stuff, you will not go near zoner installations without being shot at. and you will stay that way not until YOU decide you can improve your faction standing, but until the zoners decide you can improve it again.

thirdly...

aside from the fact that i believe that the connections between the QCP and the bretonian goverment are somewhat obvious. - and that its sort of political suicide to aim at zoners in such an incident ( or to fight within 5k around zoner installations when they have their laws there ) - i am surprised at the very hostile tone from both sides.

maybe it wasn t a great decision to place a bounty without any reason on a whole faction ( always problematic ) - maybe it wasn t a good idea to fly to 49 with a wing of QCP and fire at corsairs ( even if the omegas are not excluded from the IDs ZoI ) - but things happen. - maybe it wasn t the best decision to attack the QCP for violating the NFZ laws ( although i support that decision, but that doesn t mean its a good one )

but the discussion become utterly personal in that thread. - i haven t seen much of what the QCP is about and what impact it has on the politics of the house. what i have read here is justifications, accusations and all OOC - its players yelling at players, not QCP yelling at zoners.
