corsairs in 49 playing as a protector is HARDCODED into our RP. - the recent treaty ( that no one but zoners and TBH know about ) even weakens the hardcoded links between the corsairs and the zoners.

look at it from that point of view. - for a long long time, bretonia was totally unaware of gran canaria. - they simply didn t know if its existance. - recently they realized it was there - and sort of claimed it... . then we got to an agreement with bowex which acted on behalf of the bretonian goverment. ( made particularly sure that bowex was RPing on behalf of the goverment officially )

the goverment granted the zoners the legal claim of GC ( so anyone that agrees with the goverment agrees that GC is property of zoners ) - and in return, the bret goverment got a little enclave for refugees - the details are pointed out in a RPed treaty.

in general. - we MUST NOT turn hostile to zoners, not cause we zoners don t want it ( oh, some zoners would be delighted to have an opportunity to fight more ) - but cause its CANON / vanilla. bretonia knows that zoners act on all sides. - but they don t do anything about it. - that is vanilla, that is also disco.

respectful RP also is not to do one sided roleplay. - when you want to wage war against another faction, you ask them if they want to wage war with you. - everything else is like a lone battleship at a hostile station stating it has just destroyed this station.

so you can turn bretonia hostile to zoners - but only if zoners agree to it as it is totally and utterly against canon. ( remember? - the order was not allowed to become non hostile to liberty as part of canon - only on a personal basis ) - if you play canon, you must turn a blind eye on certain things.
