Good point.

All I see here is an idiotic attack on the wrong party for unfounded reasons. Instead of pissing off the zoners, and causing loads of political issues for your 'country' (house), you should have just kept dealing with the Corsairs themselves on an individual basis.

Let's use another analogy here... You're an soldier, and you're at war with terrorists. You know terrorists are using civilian houses as shelter. What you're doing is killing the civilians hoping it will change things, when you should be sticking to dealing with the terrorists themselves.

Is there not a single brain cell to split between your entire faction?

Actually, if there were civilians selling terrorists bullets, giving them bomb fuses, feeding them and giving them a bed, you're right, the military wouldn't kill them all. They'd kick the door down, flood the place with tear-gas, drag the people out by their hair and arrest them.

Unfortunately, with game mechanics it's impossible to do that to a Freeport, so killing people is the next best alternative, seeing as I can't see any Zoner agreeing to be 'arrested'.
