Are you saying that It would be good to have battleship weapons on it? Or only that it counts as a battleship class. Either way, I don't think that works very good.

I really like your suggestion dab. Give it a gunboat class shield. This means that any fighter has an actual chance against fighting this thing and that if it goes against a capital ships, it will most likely die. About the weapons, I think that the class 8 GB weapons should be limited to 5 for the Lux Liner and 4 for the prison liner. A ship with all the space devoted to making its passengers comfortable will NOT have enough room for the power generators and the wiring for the guns and all the things that pure military craft do.
