why we speak of powergaming in a negative sense:

- a bounty was posted with little to no RP backup / foundation. ( ingame, you d speak of pvp-whoring, ooRP ) ... its like a player going to the forum and posting a bounty "i don t like bretonia, - i will pay 1 credit for every dead bretonian, everywhere, in any ship." - this way, the "rules" are satisfied.

take a look at zeltaks bounty of a "good" friend. NO rp basis there either. - totally off with justifications. and that is a RP server? this is highly disappointing. that is ooRP / ooc to the max. and its posted just "cause i can".

- why is it against the idea of the faction and messing up things a lot more than many people want to acknoledge:

- each faction has a characteristic attached to them, a fundamental characteristic that DEFINES them. - to change that characteristic, you change the faction. - to change the faction, it would need igiss intervention or at the very least the consent of both sides. - you must not do it one sided.

- zoners are neutral, like it or not
- corsairs are starving, like it or not
- outcasts breath cardamine, like it or not
- the wild are ex-nomad possessed, like it or not
- hackers are ex-ageira agents that hate ageira and liberty with a passion
- gaians are ex-scientist / eco-terrorists

etc.

you cannot come and change that to your liking. - its not a question of how fair or unfair it is. - it is a fundamental characteristic and no bully can come along and just say "no, you re not neutral anymore, no, you re not starving anymore, no, you don t need cardamine anymore, - no, you were never the hosts of a nomad, etc. "

that aint working. - and you cannot drive zoners into a war, especially not when they don t really like it. - this would be such a global change as to say "gallia suddenly feels the love and opens its gates to all sirius and gives every new arrival a collar of flowers, a cigarette and a bottle of their best vintage"

you cannot force such fundamental changes upon a faction that does not want them. - to keep doing so, you re as bad as for example:

- liberty parking dreadnoughts at every hacker base
- liberty claiming to have destroyed every hacker base or disabled them
- claiming that all the systems are now rightfully theirs and the hackers are gone
- claiming that those hackers that pop up please go into exile or best delete their chars, cause they do not exist anymore
- liberty keeping their battleships before EVERY hacker base - and lets say, they are powerful enough - install 10 stationary NPC battleships before each hacker base, so that even hackers that wish to fight back cannot undock.

one sided RP



so - when the QCP wants to wage war or make a political point. - they should have contacted the zoners and agreed on a little war. - you would have been surprised how well it works when you WORK TOGETHER. - but to push a certain RP on another faction "just cause you like it" and then go to the forum and say "whine me a river, you zoner idiots" is not helping matters.... especially not when you want your RP to be regarded to be serious.

posting idiotic bounties is like the little guy supporting the bully in school, cause he hopes so much that the bully likes him.

it has been said in the past so many times. - when you want global changes or fundamental RP - you work together - i wonder what is so hard about it to understand.

others manage it, too. - we received messages from other factions that wants to have an impact on zoner RP - and they did it RIGHT. - they contacted the zoner players - things are being discussed and talked over.. you get serious roleplay out of it. - no drama, just quality.
