Doc, those are Corsairs living on that planet. Are you really thinking to just let the Bretonians to walk in, extract them and trial them in Bretonian space?
Seriously, doublecheck your situation here. For someone that offers freedom and liberty you're pretty much screwing it up amigo.

Noone is taking Corsairs from Canaria unless they use force.
I'm sure you will pull whatever magic you can from your hat to make all this disappear. Because if we do get a message about Bretonnian hostilities on Corsair nation in Canaria we'll just sit on everyone.

You saw us angry because our nation starves. And it is the duty of well fed to provide them with what they need.
Trust me. You wouldn't like to see us angry because we have been hurt or slaughtered.
