Beyond Sirius, RP

Alright, let me give a short explanation so everyone knows where my point of view is coming from...

The RP I'm working on is a continuation of Aki Kimura's previous RP. For those who dont know, Aki Kimura was an Order officer and Admiral, and a member of the Order High Command for a fairly long duration - after stirring things up with the corsairs unintentionally, the High command set out to court martial her, and Aki took her ship and crew and ran.

From that point on, Aki and the ship she commanded were renegade, and travelled all over sirius routing out nomad/wilde forces and experimenting with Daam K'vosh technology. The end of Aki's RP came about when the ship was attacked on the edge of known Sirius space by an unknown alien craft, and Aki was abducted by that craft (just her, not the rest of the crew).

What I'm trying to do is bring the character back, by writing up a story of what happened during and after the abduction, up to the point of her returning to sirius space. Just to give a general idea of events - Aki found herself caught up in an intergalactic war between alien species living outside of Sirius, including the C'tan empire and several others.

How I will link her back to Sirius is still in question, but currently I'm pretty set on using the alien ruins on Planet Nauru in delta - those ruins were built by an alien race, but not by the nomads, daam k'vosh, or the phantoms/c'tan. That leaves a loose string that I can use, as those ruins may have belonged to one of the other species in the galaxy that Aki meets during the time after her abduction.


The problem I'm having is really deciding what the character should do, what ship she should use, and what ID/tag she should use. Nothing I've found really supports what the character needs in this regard, and I dont think the admins like me enough to throw a terrorist ID my way =P

So...

Character Goals

Bringing Sirius into the intergalactic war being raged between aliens outside of Sirius' borders.
This is a bit tricky, since most of sirius probably doesnt care about wars that dont involve them. Aki will be working with an alien crew of a species not yet known to sirius, so trying to figure out how she and this crew would interact with sirius factions is a bit difficult. Ideally, all factions of Sirius will be hostile to her ship out of suspicion and fear (they dont know what she's flying, it's going to be RP'd as an alien designed ship), but ultimately the goal is to give Sirius factions an awareness of what is going on outside their domain, and to try and gain support from humanity for one of these alien empires.

Keeping hostile to other aliens
The aliens Aki is working with are no friends of the nomad, k'vosh, or c'tan/phantoms, and they will all readily know that Aki - due to her ship design - is working for an alien empire that they are at war with. The character will, as such, probably get into plenty of scraps with phantom/keeper/wilde players.

The Ship

Finding a ship to use is going to be difficult. As far as the RP goes, Aki is onboard an alien ship, with an alien crew - but they are not c'tan/phantoms, or nomads/wilde, and we have no ships in the game that are used in that capacity. I want a small ship, but something that can survive in the edge worlds and against the odds, meaning a cap. I miss my cruiser from 4.84, so ideally that's the ship class I want to go with, but finding one that fits is tough.

My first thought was to go for a huntress cruiser via special RP request, but that is easily identified as a phantom/c'tan ship, which goes against the RP even more than using a human ship and RP'ing it as an alien ship would. Further, I'm quite sure the phantoms would object, and the ship is quite large - not something to my liking.

So I need to find something that looks alien-ish, is cruiser class, is fairly small (I'm not working with a large crew here), and can hold it's own in combat. Right now the only thing that really comes to mind past the huntress is the corvo cruiser model that Jinx has waiting for 4.86. Give me any other suggestions you think of, please.

The ID/Tag

Even harder than finding a ship has been finding a tag and ID which fit the character. The ID needs to support a cruiser class ship, but it also needs to give enough freedom to allow the character to fulfill her goals. I cannot use any faction ID, as the character will be completely disconnected from any Sirius factions. Generic ID's that I've found so far dont allow the use of cruiser class ships.

As for the IFF... it needs to be something that first shows as hostile to as many factions in sirius as possible, but I need a tag that doesnt instantly link me to any sirius faction, to create as little confusion as possible. In short, I want people to be on their guard when they see me, not sure who or what I am, but I want to cut down on having people immediately open fire until some RP can get out there and I can explain my character.
