Right, not trying to create a complexity here. But this made me really wonder why the Zoners can't be targetted as a whole, be it by QCP or any other faction, whence the inclinations of the RP motives do clash. I also don't believe the current Zoners are fully neutral to all parties. Could someone elucidate this matter please? Is this a shield of some sort or a requirement of the common RP'ing rules of Discovery that every single group is obliged to obey?

I vote for it to be stated clearly in the rules;

Zoner Tagged and ID'd ships cannot be fired on by anyone exept with Terrorist, Nomad or Wilde IDs.

To be more of a point to this, have we actually hit something like this? It's not like its a faction that has all made ships specifically to shoot Zoners with zero RP at all. As said before, it's been properly set in RP, other factions have had incidents with shooting Zoners and it was all dealt with. The quoted text explains that even more, I dont see any rule like what I mentioned, I dont see this invisible barrier and then I get slapped on the wrist for aparently hitting it.
