Do we need new/more Admins?

In my opinion, the way the discovery administration is made does not allow the creation of such things, Gheis. You see, I feel discovery entierely tied the forums and the ingame part so much that you simply have to go through the forums for the slightest request.

While in a way it's good to reinforce / continue interaction outside of the game, some things have been taken too far.

You see, one day on my angel, a newbie made me realise this. He just wanted to join a faction, and have fun. He chose the BAF after we discussed about factions for quite some time. Then I told him he would likely need skype as it's mandatory for a lot of official factions. He replied : Why do I have to install another program, there's the forums.

In a way it's stupid, because we all know being able to communicate quickly and in group is efficent and useful. But on the other hand, how did we, the community, end up making Skype mandatory for so many little things just to be able to have a taste of the game ?

To get back on the topic, Mods can do their work on the forums because closing a thread has no impact on the game, but I think getting to be an "ingame administrative frontline" is actually tougher than simply being an admin.
