Ishikawa Hideaki

Doing business in Kusari can be quite tricky at times.
Toru Ishikawa however was a master in the fine art of using the current situation of the economy to his own advantage and striking the most profitable deals.
Something he dearly wanted to pass on to his son. And so Hideaki was attending yet another one of his father's business meetings.

Sitting seiza at the small table in his father's study, he observed the two elder men having tea.
Curiously, they didn't get to the point of the deal for a very long time. The entire conversation consisted mostly of unimportant small talk.

After a while, the guest turned his head to Hideaki.

"I see your son is slowly approaching adulthood, Toru-san." He said and turned back to Hideaki's father.

"He will make you proud one day."

His father gave a short bow and spoke. "Thank you for your kind words. He shall be my heir and my greatest pride one day."

After catching the serious gaze of his father, Hideaki quickly followed his exampled and bowed. "Arigatou gozaimasu. I feel honoured by your words."

The guest nodded and smiled. Staying silent, he had a sip of his tea before returning his gaze at Toru.
Still the faint smile on his lips he spoke calmly.

"Very well, Toru-san. I accept your proposal." He put his cup down again. "In two weeks then."
Having said that he smiled at Hideaki again and got up.
"Sayonara then."

Toru Ishikawa stood up as well and bowed. "Sayonara, Ozawa-san."
Hideaki followed his example and did the same. And with quiet steps their guest left.

After a short silence, Hideaki turned to his father and asked. "Gomenasai, outosan, but what was this about?"

"It means that you will leave in two weeks obviously."
