I'm still hurting from the fact that any freelance character I play can't try to save slaves or stop a drug shipment because they think it's wrong; they have to officially join a law keeping faction according to pirates and smugglers. Freelancers aren't mercenaries; the big difference between the two has always been to me that mercs do things because of contracts, freelancers do things because of personal feelings.

As was pointed out, there is no yes or no to demanding cargo in the ID text. I think Freelancers should be able to do so if they have a good reason or RP to back it up. Some may say this just opens the door to people being able to do whatever they want, whenever they want and how unbalancing it is. Truth be told, it makes sense: that's exactly what freelancers do. And they have to deal with the consequences of those actions. Like having unlawful bounties put on them.:cool:
