But we would have to do it properly (i.e add dozens of them, all properly filled with mysterious stuff), not just add a few empty systems.

Also, one thing i have noticed, in all new systems, there seems to be a HUGE ammount of planets, now, i remember when i first played vanilla, finding a planet was exciting because they were so rare, and that really made you want to explore. With the ammount of planets (most of them desolate rocks, with no interesting infocards or such), especially in gallia where in one of the systems i think there is about 7 planets, none of them habited or with interesting, mysterious infocards to read.

Imo this has slightly spolied the atmosphere of discovering new places, so if this is done, which it definately shoudl be, can it be done so as to add to the atmosphere, not degrade it.
