You can't use models from Spore in Freelancer.

Other than that, the actual premise for the model is an interesting one.
With some tinkering, it might make quite a handsome beastie, though it's not exactly reminiscent of the Phantom ships except in paint job.

And, truth be told, I hear Phantoms don't use their ships a lot, since people complain.
They use normal ships that reflect their backgrounds.
