First of all, yes VHF's are supposed to be able to take down bombers, which is usually the case. Your complaining that you got pwned by a bomber, in YOUR VHF. I don't care. You know why? The people who can actually take down your VHF in a bomber are rare. Either that, or your flying just sucks. Sorry to be mean, but that's true. Don't judge that since a bomber took down your VHF once, that ALL bomber's can do that, its not true. The people who can do that successfully are rare. Wanna know why its so hard? Bomber's maneuverability is so bad, they have to maneuver their bomber, and in less than less than a second (yes I know what I said), they have to press the '6' key on their keyboards so that they can fire a SNAC. Most bomber's can't do that, because their shields usually go down if they have their hand's on the '6' key the whole time, or they don't actually get the chance to fire their SNAC's coz their too busy dodging your darned Vengeances.
Second, this is for all of your that complain that bomber's are too powerful against battleships. That's the way its meant to be, you buffoon. Battleships aren't supposed to be invincible against everything. Heck, if that was the case, the USS Enterprise could've won WWII all by itself, but guess what, that's not that case. The Enterprise needed to have several other cruisers and frigates defending it from bomber attacks (and kamikaze ones too). The next time you get on your battleship, rendezvous with a gunboat or two, their the ships that are meant to take down bombers. Besides, battleships are meant to be the head of the fleet. Their supposed to be well protected, since most of the field commanders are there, so there gotta be some ships around it, don't you think? It just wouldn't make sense if a Liberty Dreadnought invaded Rheinlander alone, it would be a waste of resources and it wouldn't achieve anything at all.
Next up on the issue, What if bombers did get downgraded?...well lets see...pirates would take over NY. Know why? because most, if not all pirates in NY are flying GB's. Lets say bombers can't carry SNAC's anymore. Bye bye, everyone's gonna capwhore. Lets say bomber's agility get reduced. Bye bye, people will complain that taking a GB out in a VHF is soo impossible because their bomber's agility wouldn't be abel to dodge the gunboat shots.. Lets say, their speed is slower. Bye bye, every cap in Sirius could take down bombers, destroying the sole purpose OF a bomber.
Jeez guys...ya'll don't appreciate the bomber enough. I suggest you get an LPI bomber and patrol NY...then you'll really understand why I feel like this...
