This topic has been discussed so many times.

It is possible, but there are problems. Like mb52 said, if the person logs off. What if the person dies?

Would it be possible to force all players docked to quit to the main menu.

A message like "You will be kicked - No ship to launch from"

That could work.

Another idea I just thought of, maybe transfering all people docked to the nearest base. But I see problems with that, so I don't think it would work.
