Mollys are dissatisfied miners who were abused by Edmund Graves of BMM a long time ago. The killed him and escaped Graves, and have been fighting to make Dublin an Sovergien state ever since.
On the surface, the RP is similar, but not so much that you couldn't make the group distinct. I beleive its perfectly possible to make a faction like the one you are describing that isn't just another molly group with aussie backstory.
Still, two problems with the revolutionary backstory;
1. What, exactly, do you plan on seceeding with? Perth Station (Only Aussie named station I know of:P)?
2. Yes it is POSSIBLE to make a story that is unique, but follows the lines of "angry people want to leave bretonia." However, expect a lot of "Oh god... Not MORE bloody dissatisfied bretonians try to seceed" when people see you in game, at least until your story gets well known.
