"I may be young, and only a newly appointed Commander within The Order, but I'm a quick learner and my short time aboard the Bastet has taught me quite a bit about our allies and enemies. I have nothing personal against the Corsairs, up until now I thought they were valuable allies... but apparently I was blindfolded. Why is it that, out of the blue, they have suddenly begun to pirate and attack our closest allies, whom we rely on for not only resources but also exchange of technology, information, and support in combat?"

"While some more naive officers may see Elder Sparta's response as reasonable... I do not. It doesnt take a psychic to know that once you pirate those transports, less than half of the cargo will ever get to us, while the rest is taken to fuel your own war efforts against Rheinland or Bretonia, or the various criminal groups throughout Sirius... not to mention further assaults against our suppliers. The only thing that the Corsairs are doing is driving a wedge between both our alliance with the Zoners, as well as our alliance with themselves."

"These attacks need to stop. It may not be the easiest course of action for the Corsairs to find their resources elsewhere... or heaven forbid, actually merchant instead of using violence to get what they need... but personally I wont stand for attacks against civilian allies who are helping our cause far more than the Corsair nation has in the past decade. What I lack in field experience, I more than make up for in training and textbook knowledge... unless something changes in the Corsair nation, there is no good end that will come from this situation."

"Until a diplomatic result can be achieved, I suggest we move any spare fighters we have into escort positions for all zoner trading vessels moving goods to either Freeport 11 or our own bases. I dont think the Corsairs would be foolish enough to attack a trade ship directly protected by our own pilots. If need be, I will station my Carrier in Omega 41 or an adjacent system to serve as a resupply station for these fighters."
