Ok ive been working on a mod and im creating a new faction. Ive figured that 'namereasources' is the dll for faction names and ive edited that but what is the dll that has the faction info in it?

The nameresources.dll contains the faction properties which come from the initialworld.ini factions ids_name, ids_info, ids_short_name.

If you want to make new factions you need to modify at least 5 files:
newplayer.fl/mpnewcharacter.fl ---> you can modify with save editor
emphaty.ini
initialworld.ini
factionprop.ini
m13.ini

And of course if you want to add new loadouts, then definate it in the faction_prop.ini, and you need 2 more
files: npc_ships.ini, and loadouts.ini.
