I'm probably going to get flamed horribly for this, but I have a small idea.
First, halve bomber turning speed. Yes, I know what you're thinking, this will make bombers uberweak and useless, but you haven't heard the second part of my suggestion.
Second, halve destroyer and BS projectile speed, and halve GB turn rate. This will mean that destroyers and BS will have a harder time against fighters, but will have the same chance against bombers. For a fighter however, this means that a bomber is a slow, easy to destroy target so as long as you have decent escorts, bombers will not be able to take out dessies and BS. Bombers, thanks to the reduced projectile speed of large caps and reduced turn rate of small ones, should have the same chance of victory, but will be torn apart by fighters, which is how people seem to think it should be.
