Well then it's a different faction you should be asking. Besides how does that match up with the title of the subject? Those be Omegas, not Omicrons then. That's like two different regions half across the Sirius with pretty much a whole different set of factions inhabiting them.

Can't help with ideas at the moment since I'm preoccupied with faction re-structure and planning two mini-events already. You can ponder around story premise with the Order till we're done with these matters.

Personally I don't see a problem with indies for as long as they follow strictly the line defined by the event organizing task group, RP along and hold the responsibility on the same level as official factions participating, including the grave consequences should they try to disrupt the event.

Besides "massive fleet battles" would probably not include capital ship galore as we artificially limit ourselves to a bare minimum of capital ships, therefore you'd have to balance fleet structure participating in the event(s) accordingly.

I was thinking along the lines of starting off in Omega 55 with the core to steal a powercell. then the Order barges in to try and prevent the Core from stealing it. then Agmen`s suggestion comes into play: a chase across half Sirius with the Core trying to get the cell to Dabadoru, and the Order trying to prevent it. in order not to turn it into a shooting gallery, we can have the Core and Order yelling at each other along the way, both trying to convince the other to stop their actions. reason would be that if they start fighting and the powercell gets hit, both fleets will be wiped out. In Kappa, the Keepers can join in, trying to get their duracell back from the Core.

I reckon Harbringer and Mammetum will be more than enough to wipe the floor with "human caps". but that`s of later concern.

as for the story, I reckon it can go 3 ways from there. ( I can`t count to 3...)

1 Core gets the powercell to dabadoru. future events revolve around the cell being in the Core`s hands.

2 Order prevents it, and steals it for itself. story can go on from there.

3 Keepers whoop us all in the end. story carries on with Core still bent on getting a powercell, and the Order trying to prevent it.

I`m not a great creative mind, so suggestions are more than welcome.
