Do you have corsairs and food aboard your ship?

You're completely welcome to penalize me for having 'poor' rp for not having anything but a profitable cargo in my hold. That and armour, if you do. If you don't, then that's hypocricy of the highest order.

Furthermore: I, as the leader of a tradefaction, and a player who primarily flies transports...don't see this same expectation being enforced on fighters, why should we wear rp on our chests, so to speak, rather than being good RPers?

In my oppinion, a good rp is not dictated, or even influenced, by what someone's hauling around. Whether they've 'crew' or any other useless (that's right, completely pointless, worthless, waste of .02 ping) commodity. Commodities are about the economy. RP is about fun. Having crew in my hold has -never- added to my fun, but roleplaying in chat has. Just as I wouldn't wear a sword, armour, or a cape to a pen and paper match, I wouldn't decide someone would be a poor rper for not wearing one....I might, though, think those who cannot imagine the character in full, who demands I wear a cape or an eyepatch, to be somewhat...unimaginative, at the least.
