Hmm, that doesn't sit very well with me... not at all, no.
That's a bit of bias there. Are all indies bad? Does the tag simply make one good at RP and fairplay?
Not in the least bit.

I'm an indie, and I'm somehow proud of it.
And my RP is almost ridiculously deep. That's the reason it's not on the forums... it's so massive.
But if you're seen me in game and RPed with me (and I RP with anyone who wants to) you'll have noticed how much work I put into it.

Certainly, there's better RP in factions. But not all indies are evil. There's good ones out there, and to pass judgment on the good as well as the bad is abundantly unfair. Of course, there should be a screening/application process... but most of the evil indies are probably not on the forums anyway, so it's not going to be a ridiculous amount of work.


What I'm saying is that if you exclude all indies, you end up shoving people like me down the drain, although there may only be a few of us. And I wouldn't be explicitly happy about that, as I'm always interested in large RP opportunities like this.
