However, if that is too much for the moderators to deal with, then... well, it doesn't look like many people are actually trying to RP them. Again, I do not know modding to the fullest extent that I should to give any advice, but just tumbling around a potential idea O-o

Also, Kemira, what you speak of is a case of Acceptable Break From Reality, mainly the faster-than-lightspeed, as breaks from reality are usually needed to make games fun for a vast majority of players.

Monkey people, in FREELANCER, are not an acceptable break from reality, as it was thrown in as a joke and not for major gameplay reasons. If it was a seriousl addition, then that would be something. It was not, however! [Note: no, monkey people are not 'inherently funny' and the joke was more of a "Hah, look at those crazy devleopers" moment. If the devs of the storyline want to add a more realistically made new race then fine, but I doubt they would be a ruling force in FL and who knows what cultural differences from humans that would exist!
