Note to self: I should have trusted my gut feeling to wait... well, nevermind.
What I do want to state, before I get into details is, that I'm a bit disappointed. I thought I made myself more than clear with the intentional dryness. Okay, the subtitle perhaps is not the fitting, yet this topic is made to evolve. So of course it affects the "lolwutters" in bombers who are also a pain in the ass to some. What to do with them? Proceed the Questions from 1 to 5, that should mostly do it.
Also (if somebody noticed) I basically did nothing else but pooling some of the ever repeating trends into a neat and tidy form. Yes, the best way to get rid of lolwutters is teaching them the game. I emphazise this. But there still are those left that "don't get the hang of it".

Now, from top to bottom:

@Colonel.Tigh
You are mislead, I did not wrote with the slightest bit of anger or being pissed of:)You know, I'm a "notirious conditioner" of some sorts, and when I repeatingly hear/read left and right and center about "unbehaving persons that are ruining the fun for others" (from a plenty of persons) but on the other hand only seeing discussions going into nowhere, I might as well try for myself to find a solution. At least I can say; I have tried.

@reavengitair
Would it mind you to remove the full quoting please?:(It is exactly that what I wanted to avoid when I asked; "Referring to the number suffices, no need to quote the entire thing if it is not needed to."

Now, what really has me puzzled is the fact that I am actually TRYING to seperate the "real lolwutters" from those who are accused of being such, but you write as I am just another flamer who has nothing better to do than spit down on them...?
Yes, there are people like you who catch newcoming players and prevent them to become lolwutters in the first place. Yes, there are people who change their ways on their own and become a better part of the rest. And this is why I put so much "points" at first before actually moving to the restrictions stuff. Perhaps you have overread but; "So, the possible solutions are only VALID when there is STILL a tremendous amounts of users left". This all includes careful shaping and teaching with one hand, and reporting with the other if there is something to report.

as for "people never say hello to lolwutters;" this is a statement I cannot find true. How does one become branded a lolwutter in the first place? Well, I tried to make it clear. You are one of those who help, but are you certain you are the only one? At this point I'd like to mention again, that I am actually on your side of the line. Trying to help out, trying to teach them. What this topic is about is the question, of what should be done with the REMAINING ones and I find it kind of shocking that many just go and hide from lolwutters instead of (rightfully) reporting them that they have broken the rules if all ELSE fails.

Now, big apology because of my line: "(pun intended. Please don't take it all too seriously)". Very bad spelling error. Of course it should say NO PUN intended. *goes to edit this afterwards*

"If they are not responding, not replying, just get as many people as you can to just ignore him! Ignorance is bliss."
I wholeheartedly disagree. Ignorance has made more things worse in the world than has made things better. And if you favor ignorance, then you wouldn't try to help out people in the frist place. And is it exactly that ignorance that makes you not report rulebreakers? Just curious :nyam:!

@NightHawk
My problem is; I actually despise and condem words like "lolwutters" or any kind of chat / leetspeak whatsoever. But trying to find eloquent phrases which are not repetative WHILST assuring that people always understand what I mean in a language that is not my mothertongue; errm... no, I pass. its an exception, but I pass and stick to the "common term" while trying to seperate misjudgings.

@Birdtalon
It is exactly that what I am trying to adressing: those that cannot be helped. I do not favor "not doing" things and relying on others to do the stuff or keep my eyes shut. Just not my style.

@escrima
Do you mean, that somebody who follows the setting, the RP and the rules of this server should abandon whatever action he/she is undertaking just because to avoid a "lolwutter"? Seriously?:blink:

@Ritsuka
Yes, its the other half (or how many there might be) I am trying to adress. And if all my effort only manages to make the people learn the rules better so they know when to report and when not... at least its something done.

@Linkus
It is just a game, that is correct, and I am not one of those who can be shaken so easily by "lolwutters" - but thats just me, what about the others? What about the others (and their number is not insignificant apparently) who are thinking "why do people ruining this game on purpose and why do people like me, who play straight, get pissed upon?" This thread is basicaly a summary of what has been going on lately and it should be a constructive way of "how to deal with the so called lolwutters and how to avoid new players become lolwutters". IF this gets to the point where restrictions (which are partly for RP reasons as well on second thought) are bound to happen to get rid of the "evildoers" without affecting the people who are playing straight; then wouldn't that be a goal worth chasing? So much for "everyone only wants to make something for their own good"...
"And a 'lulwutter' in a bomber is far more lethal than one in a battleship typically." If said "lulbommerz" refuse to listen to what you say, and there is no light at the horizion, and IF the only way to stop them is to report the rules they broke; is this enough? Is this done sufficiently? If a lolwutter per se is somebody who denies RP and the general rules and hops around and shooting stuff on sight without clinging to the netiquette regardless of how many times he is told... then who is the person that has to be blamed? the lolwutter or the other guy not reporting/stating the evidence?

@Salorn Galacius
Yes, the independant persons do fly alone, but people in a faction are... in a faction...? Independant people are mostly those who get their capship GRANTED for said reasons; they interact, roleplay and are straight.
Also, it was just a suggestion to let prices skyrocket - if this is not doable by any means necessary, but the problem with the "powertraders" still exist, then its again up to work on the powertrader problem, is it? ( which also seems to be in the works and discussions constantly:D)

@LoTeK_
Yes, thats one solution - the other half of the solution. The utmost importance should always be to try to make lolwutters not happen.
So in a nutshell, you pretty much hit the essence. Yet its not only onesided, because if we do not look after "them", then who is it to blame if things go so gravely wrong?

So, anyways; I really want to try to get the intel of "how many REAL game-disrupting people who neglect the setting of the server are out there? Is it worth to do something against them without jeopardizing any stats of the ships beforehanded?" Because I see no reason to nerf SHIPS because of abusive behaviour of others - that is just plain wrong. This is the reason why I try out other routes. The topics keep popping up and there is no end. And apparently it does take a bit to sit in a "lolcap" so they are somewhar persistent. About the lulbommerz; as stated above. Why are lulbommerz considered lolwutters in the first place? Answer? Anyone?

And hopefully, I am not already marked as a "stupid flamer who has no idea of what he is talking" ... well well :mellow:

To hunt the prey is life,
to lose the prey is death,
to hunt the loss is insane...
