First, I want to thank everyone for your help.
Based on the poll: . . .

1. Overall 43% of the community voted has OORP BS experience every time or every other time, while 56% has seldom to none . . (near a 50/50 split roughly)

2. OORP Action: Chat seems to be the biggest complaint, with actions or attack a close second. For me, I see about as much OORP chat with any ship in game, regardless of size.
Attacks and actions? While I do witness the same actions with other ships, I can understand the magnitude of a battleship opening fire on a small ship. I can also see the extra work involved for a group to muster up enough ships to attack a battleship That has been attacking, and or behaving OORP. (Of course this is after trying to communicate with the player and has failed) . The only thing that I can think of on this though, is that there is a good bit of other capitol ship classes that behave OORP that is difficult to defend from (battle cruisers, etc.).

As far as OORP equipment or locations? I feel that in most cases, a sanction report to the Admin team should take care of that.

The final question I asked.. If Admins were to make Battleships special requests, would you be willing to have all BS accounts wiped next MOD and everyone apply new? . .( Perhaps I should have put have put a little more thought in that one) . . .
33% would be willing to start over, while 59% would not . . This information has not drawn a good conclusion for me . .

Fist off, I do know know how many in this poll actually do own battleships . . (It is easy to say, "Yeah, take away the battleships" when you don't own one)
Second, most people who own them believe that they play that ship with good RP and should not have to prove themselves again . . (I can understand that) My question is, is it fair for a new player (or one who never owned a battleship) to stand before a committee or group when others have not?

There was some great ideas posted in this thread as well as others that anyone can still obtain their battleship, but, if they behave in an OORP fashion too much, then they can be reported to Admins to determine if they should continue to fly that ship . . .

This seems to me seems like the best solution to this problem. Though it seems like it will increase the work load to the Admin team, I can't see any other solution at this time other than simply trying to communicate with the OORP player or ignoring them . . .

Either way it goes, it will take a lot of work from Admins AND players to work with newer players, who may not completely understand RP, and help guide them in the right direction . . There will always be the odd one out there that will never learn, or only try to disrupt the game (for those, there is nothing we can do other than take their ship away, I feel)

In conclusion, Over the years I have played here, and other Discovery servers before here, I find that the VAST majority of players (deep down inside) are good people, and just want to have fun. . If we take the time to help, and have fun with this game, then perhaps we don't need to add more rules and create more work to a game that we all should enjoy . .
