If only the economy functioned properly in this game...

Y'know how great it'd be to see planet crete so full of food you cant walk through the streets, with fatso hispanics stumbling over cookies and cake in the streets... but the mighty corsair nation having no ship hull panels, no fuel, no weapons, nothing to keep their war machine going?

Yea, you're idiots, plain and simple. Let's see you build praetorians and imperators out of cupcakes and sweet rolls, mr. magician. Like it or not, not everyone who comes into "your" space is going to be bringing food, and as far as I'm concerned you'd be OORP trying to blow up those shipments headed to your bases - no matter what cargo they're carrying.

Further, with this whole congress-directed ordeal lately... you do not own cambridge. I dont care how big you envision your pirate ego to be, but there is not a single corsair base in that system. If you dont field a base there, you dont control what happens there, period.

The corsairs have gotten far too big for their shoes.
