What a day it has been.
Harrassing the SF in Cambridge today in my shiny new Gunboat, i tried to make a point that they wont be able to stop us.
On my own today, I heavily damaged SFDS-Norwich (2), a fighter by the name of Merl (2) and a gunboat by the name of Spoons (2). Reinforcements for our side came in the form of a HF fighter. Despite being friends of the outcasts, we both accepted that the SF were more important than our own faction disputes. However, as we were about to finish off all three of the craft, SFBS Sierra showed on scanners and i retreated through fear of losing my ship. At no time during that lenghty engagement did i suffer anything but minor damage (a repair at Cadiz, no deaths)
When i undocked from Cadiz, i quickly pirated a passing trader and gave the HF fighter the money for his fighter. We bid each other farewell and i re-entered Cambridge. However, the entire SF garrison had left Cambridge to aid a massive slogging match in California, which i was soon to join.
Upon entering the new battle, I immediately realised that we were outclassed. There were three battleships, a frigate, a bomber and an sso fighter. This battle was playing havoc with all targetting sensors on all ships in the area, so the local police and military were laying into everyone there.
After a time, i was heavily damaged in the battle (2 deaths). However, our side was victorious and we commenced in decimating the naval forces in the area. I do not clearly recall who was forced to retreat in this battle as i was directing teh navigation controls to avoid the shots from the four massive capital ships.
I count two massive defeats for the houses of Sirius in two days. This shows signs of weakening in their military forces. California is no longer safe, but since when was it ever? Cambridge is under pressure from all pirates once again.
The following pictures are from the inflight camera, feel free to use them in negotiations with any factions you see fit sir. Mabey you can use them to prove how superior we are over the SA...just as a little Ultimatum. Cut of relations with the SF or die, perhaps. I shall leave it up to you.
There may be pictures of the previous engagement yesterday, as the machine for recording the time was one of the few pieces of equipment to malfunction during flight.
