Ship idea - ANS Reliant

Problem is, the design of the Reliant is over 800 years old. It's redundant technology now. It also doesn't look anything like current Bretonian ships...

Ah I can understand that but wouldnt that be the point of looking back in the history books one sees that the carrier worked in that era. Hence surely someone would think to use the designs to make a modern day version on it using modern technology.

Actually that was actually the point it doesnt look like anything bretonians have except maybe a train (hehe train is more likely to carry fighters than a bs in looks) I was thinking exactly far from what bretonians designs look like it is very out there like most things in this mod in comparison to original parameters set but it is not out there so much that it couldnt be a logical course of action. E.g. when emp pulse wipes out all electronics i doubt it would stop someone from using an old fashion pistol. But that is beside my point it is not the fact it looks different here it is the fact that it would be easier for the developers an designers to make than model a completely new bretonian vessel cause apparently they are having an extremely hard time with the style an making ship designs.

Bretonia is the bane of many a modeller. Their unique style of ships makes it hard to create larger ships that don't look too much like..well..fish.

I know Jinx has tried several times and not had too much success.
Still, Rheinland could do with some of this attention too. Battlecruisers really are a useful class of vessels and to ignore them is unwise.

An my point is not even that there needs to be more capital ship types for bretonia to make balance such easier design makes the job likely to happen or even work efficiently with a result occuring were as if one was to make a large capital ship from scratch for bretonia then it would probably never happen as it appears to be a horribley hard thing to do see linkus quote^. ( I see no harm in making captial ship type balance improved through using old an restoring it to new decking it out knew. Just because something is old doesnt make it any less deadly especially when revamped. Im sure any of the nuclear war heads in ww2 would still do massive murder today as they did yesterday)

anyway just my thoughts Maybe you can come up with more ideas that will successfully bring new capital ships to the bretonian fleets or the fleets that need them. TBH I dont really care as long as there is a better balance.
