In a sense, yes - which is why I still find the whole idea of such a collection of Order and BH ships flying together as OORP and out of canon - What next ? BHG|Core, Corsairs, and the Order banding together setting the war on hold, while fighting Apocalypse ?

I'd hate seeing that introduced into the finely crafted Discovery canon - it would ruin the continuity.
To be frank, I don't think that the Omicrons/Omega/Sigma sector needs a new unlawfull faction - and thats what the Apocalypses are, if you look at it from a RP point of view. Nothing more, nothing less.
