Effectivity of AA light battleships

Might I suggest, instead of more power hungry Heavy Mortars...

Dispense with the Heavy Mortar, its obviously there so that the Battleship can have effectiveness versus other Capital Ships, but the sheer power of it was designed to attack other Battleships, which as an AA ship you would not be regularly doing and thus is more occasional.

Whilst a Mortar allows you more flexibility, you can fire it and have enough or close to enough left to maybe do a BattleRazor snipe, its good versus most Cruisers and Gunboats.

As for Anti-Fighter/Bomber, I recommend Solaris's, yes yes, range suxxorzlolz!!1!

But I cant tell you enough how many times a Bomber will dive you and then get half his hull gone... And if a Bomber Pilot tries outranging you, your facing an intelligent player so thus go and use your brain, situational awareness and adaption.
Maybe try 'run' from him and then as he starts chasing you he might get a bit to close or just fly straight after you allowing you to get off a BattleRazor snipe and a few shots in at him, if he snipes you with a SN just call for fighter backup... Hes not going to be able to instantly kill you, you have time on your side to think, to dodge...

Basically what everyone is telling you, is to focus on the MINORITY - You wont be regularly facing a Tri-force of Walker, Jihad Joe, Tesch, Tomo, Ench, and half the 101st, etc... pulling out so many strategies and etc out of their arses... Instead go for the majority of what your facing, which is including idiots and average players who have a brain but maybe not godly divine skill... And god forbid you lose to the minority cause you went for the weaponry spec that would get kills on 80% of Disco, instead of the 20%.
