Kusari has the best cruiser in the mod, and it's getting a battlecruiser in the next update. Kusari is fine for capship variety.

Um maybe the Main focus should be on Bretonia a smaller focus on Rheinland

I dont know maybe Bretonia should get a Carrier (yes that taboo word again) a Cruiser and a Dreadnaught

Rheinland can have a cruiser an battle cruiser

Traders seem to have more Big Capital vessels than the entire houses of sirius combined that seems a joke there is extreme variety all you have to do is look at a house even there is MORE trade ship variety.

@ Pirates they dont need more variety at the present time since they obviously have WAYY! more resources than a extremely large house an organised govt.

@ Zoners I laugh an cry this is a people who are more rag tag border world blow ins an outs which in theory should have less resources than pirates since it is only a group of people. Yet somewere they have more resources an shipyards than the entire houses of Liberty an are much better equiped than most I laugh because their variety in capital ships makes Bretonia look like the rag tag group of people that have come together with only a few types of ships.

Ok sorry i just got sick of repeating this question 4 times with no sort of answer. Would it not be a good idea to pull designs from starlancer history books for british ships making it easier for developers skinners modelers what ever programmers computer whizs hence Bretonia might actually get to see new capital ships rather than it being attempted an then being chucked in the too hard basket or it doesnt look quite right etcetc. If someone counters with aw shucks Its going out of the Bretonian style I will cry because seeing threads that is what has been said before but im also poking at has not the style for freelancer already been bent out of shape so far it looks nothing to how it originally did that there are so many different styles variations an things. I think the logical conclusion is that it would be ok to let it slide FOR roleplay purposes as many things seem to have already an would it not be logical for a shipwright to look back through history an go that looks like it has worked in the past ok what the hell we'll give it a go but build it better with better technology.

Bretonia is the bane of many a modeller. Their unique style of ships makes it hard to create larger ships that don't look too much like..well..fish.

I know Jinx has tried several times and not had too much success.
Still, Rheinland could do with some of this attention too. Battlecruisers really are a useful class of vessels and to ignore them is unwise.

An if anyone says lets put restrictions on cap ships for bretonia have a big dregnaught that can only be used once or twice for special role play YOUR NOT HELPING!!!! an it would be completely utterly unfair when every other house an the massively over resourced zoners an pirates have capital ships with no restrictions. An restrictions not only being unfair would Null the whole point of my thread of Creating CAPITAL Ship variety if you want to talk about restrictions go talk about weapons or dietry requirements an what you shouldnt eat. This is a thread for the purpose of making more types of capital ships for very neglected house fleets not how we can make the issue worse.
