maybe bretonia has 1000 battleships - and zoners only those that are played by players. - it also says that gunboats are mass produced - so bretonia also has literally countless of those.
zoner ships are rather rare - so maybe its only those ships you actually SEE that are zoner warships. - while for the bretonian army, its only the tip of the iceberg you see as played by players.
and all that does still not hint at massive dreadnoughts and marvelous wonders of military technology. - it "might" but at the same time, it also might not.
for example - you see bretonian NPC gunboat and battleship patrols... you don t see zoner ones anywhere. - you re comparing a possible lore capacity of deployed warships with what you actually see. - if you go that path, - the corsairs can easily overrun the whole of gallia.
but there, we assume that gallia has a larger army, don t we? - and they also don t need mega dreadnoughts, they simply deploy two battleships on each one battleship that attacks them - and for that, they can also be average battleships.
the whole comparison of the houses is strange.
so bretonia has less "choices" but no one really says if they simply have a greater number of what they got. - so maybe kusari has a battlecruiser..... - but why don t you argue ... "bretonia has three times the number of cruisers"
its like the order and BHG - the order caps are stronger than the BHG ones. - the solution, - the BHG as a larger organization deploys 2:1 - cause they can - and its in RP.
the power of the houses is that they can deploy a lot more ships than the average rim worlds group. - the advantage of numbers is that they don t need to be as sophisticated or advanced ( limited ) - so when you re able to simply outnumber the enemy 10:1 - the enemy can have a much higher technological standard - and will still loose.
