Another succesful strike against the privateers, on board of the Niigata, I got a call from Kyushu, that a group of QCPs were attacking traders. When we got to the spot, we found a bomber and a fighter near the lanes. The battle started quick, our gunnes took down that bomber in a matter of seconds, but a QCP gunboat came to assist the remaining fighter.
We fought long, but the fighter factor tipped the balance onto their favor, even, we managed to hurt that gunboat bad, without that fighter we could have done it by ourselves. However, a =CR= squadron contacted us, offering their assistance against the privateers.
We dragged the QCPs close to the trade lanes, to make it easy for the =CR= to catch us up.
Soon as they arrived, we took down the GB, and the remaining fighter fled from the battle.
