Well, ain't being my fault if certain people cant accept some negative Feedback.

I would be glad if Police and Bounty Hunters could put someone into Jail. I wouldnt mind being stuck in Bastille for 4 hours. But I guess it would be too much effort for the Admins.

Why doesnt that count as Bounty? Bring him to the Police. You can even do that in real life.

And again, it takes TWO people to RP here. I've typed in the RP comment before - surrender so you can go to jail - and the invariable response is to the effect of, you ain't taking me alive.

So as for what we can do in real life - can I go out and jump into my handy Manta that I keep parked in my backyard, take off into space, and go into the trade lanes? Not hardly - because we're playing a GAME. One with rules, and other good things, and most importantly, we're playing on an RP server.

Actually, one could almost make the point that criminals NOT surrendering to the bounty hunter is OoRP play, but that's also a part of the game mechanics.

Quite frankly, Gloucester, the comments you're making are ones that have been hashed around in the past. They are not serving any useful purpose other than to sound like a rant, not just beating a topic to death, but to keep stomping it into mincemeat.

Born a Rogue - cool, reform and become a hunter. Because otherwise you had to do some missions to GET that Rogue ID. Those missions involved breaking the law or killing lawfuls. Now, is that something to be proud of? Possibly, if that's your way of doing things, and that's cool. But...

And that's a BIG BUT...

There are consequences for your actions. You got your ID by killing lawfuls - so be prepared for lawfuls to come hunt you down. I would be perfectly HAPPY to go back to having to have individual bounties on people - all you have to do is convince absolutely EVERYONE to eliminate the /renameme command, go back to the old thing where you had to get a name change certificate, and oh, yeah, post your name change request on the forum, so that way the pirate can't easily change his name.

Don't see that happening, so blanket bounties being the next best substitute - since they were started because pirates were changing their nams - means to me, drop it, and accept that you're SUPPOSED to be a hunted man.
