I have no real problems with hunters at all... they add an element of excitement to the game. When I'm sitting around pirating someone and a hunter comes along, I usually try and book it out of there. Without hunters, all I would have to do is sit at a tradelane in an unowned system and pirate until I died of old age. The Liberty Navy forces, as an example, aren't going to be monitoring a system like Magellan for pirates. Maybe they do... but rarely. They have their own problems in their own systems. If there wasn't a blanket bounty, there would be no risk at all outside of House owned systems. I could pirate without consequence, and I'm sure traders would love that. :P Besides, hunters usually always put up good fights, and I've had my share of good RP moments with them. There just would be less risk! :laugh:
