I've been trying to stay away from these threads about the Apocolypse Wing and it's been relatively easy to do so, I've only ever seen any of their ships from a distance, so I've never really had any contact with them in game.
I read the sanction handed out Admin Notice: Role Play Intervention, Apocalypse Group becasue of the way it was posted and thought it was pretty harsh and whatever was done must have been pretty bad for this to happen to them.
I don't know what happened, but I get the feeling it happened over a period of time, not in a 'spur of the moment' thing and that it must have been 'hurting' the RP of the server for a *lot* of people.
Not knowing the Admins really well, but understanding that very few major decisions (and this HAD to be a major desicion) of this type would be made by a single Admin, I also realise that there would have been quite a discussion about what exactly to do in order to 'punish' the Apocalypse Wing as a whole.
I can imagine that a few of the Admins would have to have been talked around to aggreeing on the punishment in question.
The thing is, it's happened, the thing is done, hopefully the people involved have learned that there are things you just don't do and if you do them anyway, you have to face the consequences.
