Just a few Minutes as i took me and flieger Verner took our seats in the Ready Rooms, waiting for anything to happen, the Battleship Moselle picked up an emergency call noone else but Admiral Weissmann who encountered A pair of Bundshuh fighters and called for backup.
Since the Admiral might have been in Danger, Moselle scrambled our pair of Wraiths immediately, and briefed us enroute to Destination. We received orders to rush to Bonn Station, about 15 clicks galactical South, as that was the last known position of Admiral we started to rush toward Bonn. Nearing the pinned Location of on the onboard nav computer, we picked up three signals on long range. One which successfully identified as the Admirals Wraith, and two other hostile tagged contacts which must have been the Bundshuh Fighters. Even though we just arrived the szene, we noticed that the Admiral was already negotiating and trying to arrest the Pilots from the VWA. A brave move for being outnumbered. Off course the Bundshuh did not comply and as we arrived, and changed the odds.
While Admiral Weissmann gave Flieger Verner orders to fall back and cut off their retreat, i was appointed to move in on the wing of Weissman to engage the hostile forces.A long and exhausting space battle has begun. We slowly managed to gain advantage in the fight, and had one of the Bundshuh Pilots low on Armor, as the Bandit suddendly blew up in one of his own mines.
As the first one fell, and we were able to concentrate the fire of our wraiths on the last Bundschuher, the enemy pilot had chosen a tactical retreat.
We followed him deep into Dresden System, where he lurked us to a, what appeared to be a Widerstandsarmee Hideout, which opened fire on us. Having heavy defensive weaponry pointed against us, the admiral ordered the other pilots in the fight, to ensure maximum safety by getting rid of the Pilot ASAP! ..
What led to 2 more Fighters coming in. Flieger Verner, and a Rheinland Police vessel which picked up the scene and came to investigate the situation. With this superior firepower we were able to remove the thread even while being engaged by defensive weapon platforms. Sadfully we lost the RFP vessel though.
I'm very disappointed that i can not provide guncam footage as the camera got damaged during the Fight.
EDIT: Mechanics managed to secure one shot out of the camera, showing the retreating VWA'er and the Base.
