Well, I will still be eficient against those that whine they got their VHF SNACed. But decent VHF pilots, the fighter pilot will probably win.

Let also hope people will understand that GB are crap for pirating and they will go to bombers instead, which is more RP.

And as a LPI, I have to say that to kill these smugglers (Well, the amount of them might lower a big bunch with zoners and smuggler IDed pirate trains now unable to dock on 'hatten.) and the blockade runners that just try to flee, w/o RP at all.
